Your book will be readable on any iOS device including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
How long does it take for my book to be available within the Pulp-Free app?Your book should be available within 8-10 days days (this is dependent on Apple's turn around). We have to check that your images are sized properly - if not we will need to resize them, create a unique SKU and submit this information to the App Store, and upload the finished files to our server where the Pulp-Free app will look for it.
Can I make changes or revisions to my book after it has been submitted for conversion?You can make changes. However, you will need to contact us via the support link. Depending on the kind and number of changes, there may be some costs involved.
Will my book be searchable on the App Store?The Title of your book is searchable and will appear as an In-App Purchase under the Pulp-Free app iTunes listing, with Pulp Free Publishing, LLC listed as the developer of record.
Do I need an ISBN to publish my book on your app?No you do not need to purchase an ISBN (a savings of $125).
Do you offer any marketing or promotional assistance to help sell my book?We are first and foremost a conversion and digital publishing service. However, we have created tools, available within your Dashboard, which allow you to post an image, summary and a link to the Pulp-Free app to your Facebook Wall. We have also included the ability to send out customized emails to your contacts which can also include a cover image of your title. Further, we built in functionality within the Pulp-Free app which allows the end-user (reader) to share the cover of your title via his social media accounts (email, Facebook and Twitter) to help further promote your book. And of course, you should continue to market your book through your website, at conventions, at retailers, and through your social media accounts.
Does Pulp-Free Publishing take any ownership in my work?No! Pulp-Free Publishing DOES NOT claim ownership to any works submitted. Any and all ownership issues to your work – either in part or in whole – are solely those of the creator. We do not claim any copyright, republishing rights, nor ownership.
Are there “content” restrictions to what I can publish?Yes. You must either own all such content or have permission from the content owner to use it within the Pulp-Free app. You represent and warrant that: (a) You have the right to reproduce and distribute the material and that said material does not violate or infringe any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property or contractual rights of any other person, firm, corporation or other entity.
Your book may be rejected if it contains content or materials of any kind (text, graphics, images, photographs, sounds, etc.) that in Pulp-Free Publishing's or Apple’s reasonable judgment may be found objectionable, and cannot contain any obscene, offensive or other content including, but not limited to, pornography, hate speech or defamation, and gambling (not simulated gambling).
Is there a way to see a listing of all of my titles which are available in the Pulp-Free app?Yes. Purchasers of your book can see additional titles you have available from the menu item - More Titles From Author - located in the Menu of any of your books. When this menu item is tapped, all of your available titles will appear. Readers will be able to preview 3 pages of your book, read the summary decription as you have entered it on the website, and will be able to purchase it at the price you set.
Can I search for specific titles or formats on the Pulp-Free app?The app opens to the Home page where users can browse, preview and purchase (or download for free) books. From the Search icon, titles can be searched by All, Featured, New, Free, Paid, Language and Format.
Can I browse books from the website?Not at this time.

You choose the price for your book using a pre-set price tier matrix set by Apple Price Tier Matrix. You can choose to offer your title as a free download or a paid In-App purchase. By using the Price Schedule feature, you can offer your title as a free download for a set amount of days before automatically changing to a paid In-App purchase at the price you set.
How much money do I receive for each book I sell?It depends on the Package you choose (see Pricing).
Basic Package:
After Apple deducts its 30% fee, the balance called 'Net Revenue' will be split with 70% going to the creator and 30% going to PFP
Premium Package:
After Apple deducts its 30% fee, the balance called 'Net Revenue' will go 100% to the creator
In your Account Settings, you can choose to be paid directly into your Pay Pal account or by check. All earnings are paid when at least $50 has been earned and 30 days after the date of the sale.
We accept .JPEG and .PNG files in RGB color format. We DO NOT accept PDFs at this time.
Do the pages of the book have to be named with certain file names?Yes. Please name the pages according to what they are so we do not have to guess the correct page order. Once uploaded, you will be able to rearrange as needed by moving their thumbnails on screen.

Pages should be sized as 1448 X 2048 pixels (width x height) @ 300 dpi, so they can be viewed in the correct proportion and aspect ratio in either portrait or landscape view and on both the iPhone, iPad and iPad mini with retina display.
How do I upload double-page spreads?Split double-page spreads into two single pages using the specifications listed above. We will place two single pages together to emulate a double-page spread in landscape mode.
What pages will be placed together to emulate a double-page spread in landscape mode?Page 1 of our app represents the Inside Cover of the printed title. And Page 2 is page 1 from the printed tile. The following digital pages will be viewed as double-page spreads when the
device is in landscape mode; 1-2, 3-4, 5-6......21-22, 23-24, 25-26.......and so on.
Please be aware of your page placement when uploading / arranging pages, so that double-page spreads appear correctly in landscape view.
